A typical Monday night consists of two debating rounds in the British parliamentary format, but we do occasionally use different formats such as American Parliamentary, Australian Parliamentary and even Eloquentia (comedic) debating.

The Monday night debates form the core of the debating society. The Mondays are guided by experienced debaters who will be judging the debate and give you feedback afterwards. 

The Mondays start every monday night at 18:45, unless it is a holiday. The location is at T3-16, which is in the T-building, up the escalator, through the first hallway on the right and first door on the right.

We also organise professional workshops that are freely available to our members. The workshops provide our members with theory, exercises, tips and tricks about debating and public speaking. The workshops are given by our own members who have extensive experience in debating and are often freelance trainers for commercial training companies. These workshops will help you develop new skills and give you the opportunity to practise specific aspects of argumentation and presentation more intensively.
